Focused Advice Before Marriage

Enter marriage with an informed agreement.

Marriage creates legal and financial rights that may affect income, businesses, real estate, retirement accounts, debts, inheritances, and other property.

A properly prepared prenuptial agreement allows the parties to address those issues before marriage. It can define separate and community property, establish financial responsibilities, address support rights, and reduce uncertainty if the marriage later ends.

Why Clients Choose Us

Why clients choose L.A. Family Law Center

Direct attorney involvement

Clients work directly with the attorney responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating their agreement.

Drafting informed by litigation experience

A marital agreement should be written with future disputes in mind. Ms. Wu's litigation background helps her identify unclear provisions, proof problems, and terms that may create disputes later.

Experience with complex family structures

The firm has represented intended parents and other participants in hundreds of assisted-reproduction matters. That experience is useful when a marital agreement must address surrogacy, fertility treatment, donor conception, embryo-related issues, parentage planning, or children expected through assisted reproduction.

Bilingual and cross-border representation

The firm regularly works with clients who have property, businesses, family relationships, or financial interests in the United States and China. Legal services are available in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

Practical negotiation

A prenuptial agreement should protect the client without creating avoidable conflict. The firm identifies the terms that matter, explains the legal effect of proposed provisions, and negotiates the agreement in a controlled and professional manner.
